STOP INVADING AND BOMBING LIBYA, NOW
O Estado Líbio é um estado soberano. Compete ao seu povo e apenas ao seu povo decidir o curso da sua história. A invasão e o bombardeamento da Libia levada a cabo pelas forças da coligação sustentaram-se numa série de mentiras orquestradas de modo a justificar a intervenção, sob o pretexto de proteger a população civil de um "massacre" nunca bem explicado. À união europeia, bem como aos EUA interessa a aniquilação do regime de Gaddafi e a sua reposição por uma governação satélite dos grandes interesses corporativos. Não está na sua agenda o interesse do povo líbio. Interessa-lhes o controlo dos recursos energéticos, o controlo da emigração através de um governo alinhado e sobretudo, a expansão global de um mesmo modelo político e económico, a fim de, finalmente, prosseguirem à escala global a tão desejada expansão dos seus mercados financeiros. Duas semanas depois do início dos bombardeamentos, afinal, constata-se que o massacre veio a ser cometido pelos bombardeiros da NATO. O número de vítimas mortais civis é já maior que o número de vítimas efectuado pelo exército Líbio em resposta ao confronto bélico a que ficou exposto. Oitenta e cinco por cento dos líbios apoiam a liderança de Gaddafi. A esmagadora maioria condena a intervenção estrangeira no país. Nós, homens e mulheres de todo o mundo, que preservam a verdade e a justiça, estamos com o povo Líbio.
*** The Libyan state is a sovereign state. His people, and only his people, are responsible to decide the course of its history. The invasion and bombing of Libya carried out by coalition forces focused on an orchestrated series of lies to justify intervention under the pretext of protecting the civilian population of a "massacre" never well explained. The interests of the European Union and the U.S. in this conflict consist in the annihilation of the Gaddafi’s regime and his replacement by a satellite governance of large corporate interests. It’s not in their agenda the concern of the Libyan people. They are interested in the control of energy resources, control of immigration through a government-aligned with neoliberal policies and especially the global expansion of the same political and economic model in order to finally pursue a global scale’s expansion of their financial markets. Two weeks after the beginning of bombing, it turned out very clear that the massacre came to be committed by NATO bombers. The number of civilian casualties is already greater than the number of casualties made by the Libyan army in response to the armed confrontation that has been exposed. Eightyfive percent of the Libyans support Gaddafi’s leadership. The overwhelming majority condemns foreign intervention in the country. We, man and woman all over the world, who sick justice and truth, are with the Libyan people.
